Whether part of an intended schedule or due to a delay, the games of 2015 are looking good. We’ve compiled a list of next year’s games, so you know what the future looks like for your platform of choice.

We’ll be updating this list throughout the rest of 2014, so check back with us as your future backlog begins to pile up. We're being conservative about some of the titles that were shown without gameplay, so if you see something you think should be on the list, let us know. We'll check back in and keep the conversation going.

Batman: Arkham Knight (Xbox One, PS4, PC) - 2015
Rocksteady is donning cape and cowl for one last go at the Arkham series. This final title in the series will be on PC and new-gen hardware only, so if you want to see who is under the Arkham Knight’s mask (no, the title doesn’t refer to Batman), you’ll have to upgrade.

Battleborn (Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PC) - 2015

Gearbox's new title is a strategic, team-based shooter.

Battlefield Hardline - Early 2015

Visceral is taking the Battlefield franchise in a new direction. This fall's entry features cops and robbers instead of the military.

Bloodborne (PS4) - 2015
From Software is taking a break from the Souls series to deliver its first PlayStation exclusive since Demon's Souls. The setting might be different, but Bloodborne definitely has a similar feel.

Darkest Dungeon (PC) - Early 2015
We got hands-on time with this Kickstarted gem at PAX East. It blends elements of XCOM and Dungeons & Dragons, while introducing the stress of dungeoneering into the mix.

Dead Island 2 (Xbox One, PS4, PC) - 2015
Deep Silver and Yager are teaming up for a brand new take on the Dead Island series. Eight-player cooperative zombie killing is coming next year.

The Devil's Third (Wii U) - 2015
Tomonobu Itagaki's long in-development title suffered a setback with the collapse of THQ. Nintendo has struck a deal with him, and The Devil's Third is now a Wii U exclusive.

Dying Light (Xbox One, PS4, PC) - February 2015
Techland is continuing its zombie hack-and-slash fighting from Dead Island with publisher WB. The title introduces parkour-style traversal and traps to the mix.

The Division (Xbox One, PS4, PC) - April or later 2015
Ubisoft Massive’s ambitious, persistent online shooter is an enormous undertaking. We’ve seen developer walkthroughs, but have yet to get our hands on the game or its visually impressive Snowdrop Engine.

Dragon Ball Z Xenoverse (Xbox One, 360, PS4, PS3) - 2015
Dimps is back at the helm for a new Dragon Ball title. This time, characters will be able to power up during a match.

Evolve (Xbox One, PS4, PC) - February 10, 2015
Turtle Rock’s experience with Left 4 Dead has evolved. Instead of four players against an AI director, a fifth person takes control of a giant monster in a battle to the death.

Fable Legends (Xbox One) - 2015
Lionhead is mixing up the traditional Fable formula with a new 4v1 approach that puts one player in the role of the villain. With his/her eye in the sky, the mastermind will be able to lay traps and command minions to thwart the heroes.

Halo 5: Guardians (Xbox One) - 2015
Master Chief is bringing a new friend to the party when Halo’s next installment arrives next year. We’re eager to see more of 343 Industries’ next project.

Hellraid (Xbox One, PS4, PC) - 2015
Techland is simultaneously working on two titles for new-gen hardware and PC. In addition to the zombie-infested Dying Light, it is crafting a demonic first-person hack-and-slash called Hellraid which is being built on a new engine.

Homefront: The Revolution (Xbox One, PS4, PC) - 2015
Deep Silver and Crytek UK are teaming up to revive the Homefront franchise. The original was released under THQ and developed by Kaos.

Kirby and the Rainbow Curse - 2015
Nintendo's pink puff is getting a claymation makeover in his upcoming Wii U title.

The Legend of Zelda (Wii U) - 2015
We don't know much about the new title, but producer Eiji Aonuma promises an expansive, open world.

Let it Die (PS4) - 2015
Suda51's next crazy trip looks to be an ultraviolet romp. We saw our first trailer at E3, but are eager to learn more.

Mad Max (Xbox One, 360, PS4, PS3, PC) - 2015
When we last saw Mad Max at Gamescom 2013, it felt very familiar. Avalanche Studios will hopefully spend the time to differentiate the title and make it worthy of the Road Warrior legacy.

Mario vs. Donkey Kong (Wii U) - 2015
Mario and Donkey Kong go head-to-head again in this adorable puzzle title. This time out, there are more toys and over 80 puzzles.

Mario Maker (Wii U) - 2015
Have you ever dreamed of creating your own death traps for Mario? Now you can, in both classic and "New" 2D styles.

Mario Party 10 (Wii U) - 2015
The first Mario Party game for Wii U will give the Gamepad player control of Bowser, while up to four others play with Wii Remotes.

Massive Chalice (Xbox One, PC) - 2015

Double Fine is entering the strategy arena with its Kickstarted, lineage-based title.

Mighty No. 9 (Xbox One, 360, PS4, PS3, Wii U, Vita, 3DS, PC) - April 2015
Keiji Inafune’s Kickstarted spiritual successor to Mega Man is slated for release next year on just about every major platform. Maybe this will be the nudge Capcom needs to bring back the Blue Bomber.

Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate (3DS) - 2015
The wildly popular Monster Hunter franchise returns to western shores in 2015. Capcom promises it's the biggest leap forward the series has ever seen.

Mortal Kombat X (Xbox One, 360, PS4, PS3, PC) - 2015
After weeks of teasing, Warner Bros. and NetherRealm have pulled the curtain back on the duo's first fighting game built for Xbox One and PS4 (though it will be last-gen systems and PC, too).

No Man's Sky (PS4) - 2015

After a stellar first showing at VGX 2013, Sony made a smart play for Hello Games' upcoming exploration title.

Not a Hero (PS4, Vita) - 2015
Roll7, the developers of skateboarding gem Olli Olli, have set their sites on stylish gunplay at an oddly isometric angle.

The Order: 1886 (PS4) - February 20, 2015
Ready at Dawn’s first PlayStation 4 game twists the Arthurian legend and melds it with Victorian London. Originally one of 2014's brightest PS4 stars, The Order: 1886 will now shine in 2015.

Persona 5 (PS3) - 2015
The long awaited next entry in Atlus' RPG-meets-social simulation will be out in North America in 2015.

PGA Tour Golf (Xbox One, PS4) - Early 2015
EA has replaced Tiger Woods with a navy vessel crashing into an island. This isn't the same old golf game EA has put out recently.

Resident Evil (Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, PC) - Early 2015
Capcom is updating its 2002 Gamecube REmake of the original Resident Evil for four new consoles. The game will run at 1080p on Xbox One and PS4.

Quantum Break (Xbox One) - 2015
Remedy’s latest blends time-bending gunplay with live-action episodes. A full gameplay reveal is planned for Gamescom 2014.

Rise of the Tomb Raider (Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PC) - 2015

We knew this was coming, but we were glad to see the first bit of Lara Croft's new adventure at E3.

Roundabout - (Xbox One) - 2015

The first title from No Goblin, founded by Twisted Pixel alumnus Dan Teasdale, offers tongue-in-cheek humor and action inspired by Crazy Taxi.

Scalebound (Xbox One) - 2015
Platinum is wrapping up Bayonetta 2 for Nintendo, but we know the studio has struck a deal for its next title. Scalebound has a flashy aesthetic and large monsters to ride and fight alongside.

Space Hulk: Deathwing (Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PC) - 2015

Based on the classic Games Workshop board game, this first person shooter gives players a bolter and sets them on the hunt for Genestealers.

Splatoon (Wii U) - 2015
Nintendo's accessible, paint-splattered title brings arena shooters to the Wii U with a clever use of the Gamepad for real-time mapping.

Titan Souls (PS4, Vita, PC)
- 2015

Born of the Ludum Dare, this title pits a tiny hero against massive bosses who can squash him in one blow.

Uncharted 4: A Thief's End (PS4) - 2015
Nathan Drake might be about to go on his last adventure, at least that's what Naughty Dog would have us believe from not-so-subtle audio cues in the E3 trailer.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt (Xbox One, PS4, PC) - February 24, 2015
CD Projekt bumped the conclusion to Geralt’s story from 2014 into early next year. The studio believes that the few extra months are necessary to deliver the experience fans expect. We suspect The Witcher fans are willing to wait.

Xenoblade Choronicles X (Wii U) - 2015
Nintendo has finally put a name on the RPG we had all taken to calling "X". The title is a spiritual successor to Xenoblade Chronicles rather than a direct sequel.

Yoshi's Wooly World (Wii U) - 2015
Nintendo has put a new title on Yarn Yoshi, and the title is looking like a gorgeously crocheted blanket.
