Swery's latest game is a bizarre detective romp, but what would you expect from the mind behind Deadly Premonition? Join Kyle, Reiner, and myself as we check out the opening of D4: Dark Dreams Don't Die. Could we have another cult hit on our hands? Watch this episode of Test Chamber to see for yourself.
D4 starts off normally enough, with a girl standing on a patch of ice that's clearly marked as being hazardous. From there, we're introduced to David Young, a former police detective who lives in complete squalor and is wrestling with the death of his wife. The game was originally designed for Kinect, and its odd Heavy Rain-like interactions with the mundane elements in his apartment are a testament to those roots. Stick around for an appearance from a character Swery fans are familiar with, along with a fantastic credits sequence. Pop some popcorn and enjoy!
