From a successful Kickstarter to near-universal acclaim in its early-access debut, Darkest Dungeon from Red Hook Studios successfully combines roguelike gameplay with the sensibilities of H.P. Lovecraft. Since the game is not yet released in its final form and with a PlayStation 4/Vita version on the horizon, a lot of people are on the fence about jumping into the game this early. Game Informer's Dan Tack and to a lesser extent Matt Miller have played hours and hours of the game and highly recommend jumping into the fray.
