Earlier today, Microsoft announced the first 104 Xbox 360 games that will be part of the Xbox One backward compatibility program. While the list is filled with classics, there are some notable omissions that have fans buzzing.
Players have been able to vote on titles they want to see as part of the program since June. While voting gives Microsoft and third-party publishers direction, there are no guarantees that content owners are going to commit immediately.
We’ve decided to round up the current top 25 vote-winners to see where things stand.

Microsoft tells us that the backward compatibility team continues to work on multi-disc titles. Currently, those aren’t compatible, which is why games like Mass Effect 2 and 3 aren’t able to be part of the program yet.
