Blogs. Blogs never change when it comes to releases of the heavy-hitting games of the year. That's why this week is full of Fallout 4. I'll be honest: I love all of the writing about the wasteland.

Two
Things I'd Like To See From Current Gen Gaming
Rebekah Lang has been playing
the new Tomb Raider, and one thing sticks out: Lara's hair.
It's not that she has a bad case of bed-head, but it just seems to have a mind
of its own, refusing to obey the laws of physics. All hail the true final boss
of the new Tomb Raider. Good luck, comb.
Is Cloud
a Good Fit for Super Smash Bros.?
Mighty Magikarp ponders whether or not Cloud fits into the world of Smash. The
answer is yes. At least, that's what I've thought since I was but a wee lad.
Plus, his Final Smash is Omnislash. Omnislash forever. But to be frank, he'll
probably just be Ike with some different moves.

Thoughts 52: Monaco: What's Yours Is Mine
Monaco has been one of my favorite games since I played it with Game Informer's
Matt Miller as an intern, so I totally agree with Eric Watson's overall
assessment of the indie title. I still play the game and invite new friends to
join in on thieving. Read this if you're on the fence about playing it.

Opinion: My Wasteland is Better than Yours
Fallout 4 prompted Uesugi-dono to write about his six favorite wastelands in a
listicle that is sure to cause some grief. But he backs up his reasons for
choosing what he does quite well. Well, one reason Fallout 4 isn't in
contention is because he hasn't played it, but we'll let it slide. For now.

Fallout Wasteland Is Teeming With Opportunity
Wasteland adventurer Kyle Wadsworth gives us an in-depth look at the new
Fallout game's first hours. It's a good read to find out what the game is like
at the beginning, but you may want to skip it for now if you're afraid of spoilers.

Writing Challenge: Super Mario Bros+Uncharted Crossover
Blogger attackcobra mixes two games I didn't expect: Super Mario Bros. and
Uncharted. The premise and gameplay found in this crossover is crazy, but in a
fun way. Heck, why not? I mean, aside from the maniacal Wario described at the
end of the blog. The stuff of nightmares.

Writing Challenge: Super Starts Tournament. The Multi Universe Fighting Game
GerardoExber has an idea I dreamt up when the first Super Smash Bros. came out.
Why doesn't Nintendo just try its best to throw in, say, 60 different
characters? From Sony and Microsoft exclusives, even. This would be madness on an extremely pleasing level.

System
Shock 2 Review: Best of 3
Gamemaniac3434 says what some already know: You should be playing System Shock
2. Is it perfect? No, but it holds up pretty darn well considering it is 16
years old. Now let's get that enhanced version of the first game in the series
ASAP!
Community Writing Challenge:
This week's challenge is easy: Just write about the game you are currently playing, and a couple things you like about it, plus a couple that you don't.
Community Playdate:
I'd like to start gaming together more often again. We did well with Monster Hunter and Rocket League, so let me know what you're playing so that we may set up some playdates.
I hope you enjoy the blogs! Please contact me via my Game Informer page or on Twitter at @LouisGarcia12 with any blog news or playdate suggestions.
