That’s why we’ve put together a quick rundown of the games to look forward to. We'll continue to update this list, and if you see something missing, please let us know. Here is everything we know that's planned for the Xbox One in 2014.
Skylanders: Trap Team - October 5
The fourth Skylanders game will let players trap over 40 villains and then use them in battle.
Alien: Isolation - October 7
The last Alien game wasn’t terribly good. OK. It was downright bad. However, Creative Assembly is taking the franchise back to its roots. One, super powerful, terrifying alien will stalk you throughout the entire game.
NBA 2K15 - October 7
After last year's strong first outing on new consoles, NBA 2K15 should be hitting all its jump shots.
Project Spark - October 7
Currently in beta, Team Dakota’s game creation sandbox is already giving players the chance to make their own interactive experiences. We expect the title will be officially released later this year.
Styx: Master of Shadows - October 7

While not tagged with a specific date, Double Fine has promised to deliver the game around Halloween. Whether that means right on the day or shortly before, we don't know yet, but we're confident the studio will hit the mark.
Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare - November 4
Sledgehammer Games takes the reins for the first time in this year's Call of Duty title. The game takes place in 2054 and stars Kevin Spacey as the leader of the world's largest PMC.
Rocksmith - November 4
Ubisoft's guitar tutorial game will let you rock out on Xbox One soon.
Assassin’s Creed Unity - November 11
This Assassin’s Creed title will be PC and new-gen only. After a leak forced Ubisoft’s hand, we got our first look at Assassins during the French revolution.
The Crew - November 11
Ubisoft’s open-world racer will finally be making an appearance this fall. Will the social features be the hook that the publisher hopes?

343 Industries will likely have the last major Xbox One release for 2014, with the Halo 5 multiplayer beta. It's not a full game, but we have a feeling there might be a few people interested.
